Chicagoan Frank Gallagher is the proud single dad of six smart, industrious, independent kids, who without him would be... perhaps better off. When Frank's not at the bar spending what little money they have, he's passed out on the floor. But the kids have found ways to grow up in spite of him. They may not be like any family you know, but they make no apologies for being exactly who they are.

An alcoholic man lives in a perpetual stupor while his six children cope as best they can. Creators: John Wells, Paul Abbott Stars: Emmy Rossum, William H. Macy, Ethan Cutkosky and others. My personal opinion: I liked this show so much. I liked that all the truth and the situations that can be met in the real life were shown as realistic as possible. Even if there were a lot of negative reviews on the internet, I truly think that this show is a very good one. It has 8 seasons, the ninth will be ready in September. But even if there are 8 seasons, I wasn't bored at all. Recommend it )
