Biography

Jon Beaton (b. 1988, UK) is a British-Cypriot filmmaker based in Ghent, Belgium. His work spans fiction, documentary, and experimental cinema, with a recurring focus on neurodivergence, language and outsider identity. Drawn to first-person narratives, he often employs hybrid forms and incorporates physical devices and mechanisms into the filmmaking process as both conceptual and practical tools.
