Johann Sklenka (March 5, 1911 – August 5, 1983) was an Austrian composer, cabaret artist, actor, and director. He studied music at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the Vienna Music Academy, alongside training in acting. Sklenka worked extensively on stage, particularly in cabaret and small theatre productions in Austria and abroad, including Vienna’s Kabarett ABC. From 1956 onward, he was active at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) as a composer and director, contributing to radio and television productions.
