Jascha Rust (born October 29, 1990, in Berlin) is a German actor. Jascha Rust gained his first acting experience during his school years through courses in "Performing Arts." In 2009, he applied to the production company Grundy UFA for a role in the RTL soap opera *Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten* and initially postponed completing his high school diploma to participate in the filming. From 2011 onwards, Rust appeared in the series *Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten* as Zacharias Benedikt "Zac" Klingenthal. The character was a member of the series' main cast for several years. His role as an exchange student drew parallels to his own life, as Rust himself had spent an exchange year in Australia. In 2014, after four years on the show, he left the series. Shortly after joining *GZSZ*, Rust also co-hosted the music show *The Dome* in Ludwigsburg. Since 2015, he has been a member of the cast of the hospital drama *In aller Freundschaft*, playing the character Christopher "Kris" Haas. In 2019, he also played the male lead, Valentin, in the fairy tale film *Das Märchen von den zwölf Monaten*, which aired as part of the ARD series *Sechs auf einen Streich*. In addition to acting, Jascha Rust is also active in music; he currently resides in Berlin.
