Friedrich Steinhauer was a German actor and singer. He was notable for his exceptionally high voice, which earned him the nickname The Nightingale of Ramersdorf. He became known for supporting roles in films by directors Rosa von Praunheim and Alexander Kluge, and as a singer in pubs, first in Munich, then in Berlin, where he had moved at the instigation of Rosa von Praunheim. As a singer, he mainly interpreted songs by Zarah Leander.
