Beneath
Paul is plagued by horrifying visions of a malevolent entity. He discovers that a supernatural force in his home is negatively affecting his housemates. Slowly, this force influences him and his friends to turn against each other, and even murder one another. Paul must discover the entity's true nature before it consumes them all. Is it ghostly? Demonic? Or worse... does it come from within?

<i>not to be confused with <a href="https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/257874-beneath">the other film of the same name from 2014</a></i> Respect to all involved, but I can't say I enjoyed <em>'Beneath'</em>. It's a low-budget, amateur film so I'm obviously not going to hammer it - nor does it deserve one anyway. It's, relatively, solid. The horror aspects are OK, while there are a few nice shots and some decent editing. It's just the level of acting and ending that lets it down, the lowly feel to the film is actually fine - if anything it makes it more intimate. As always, I rate anyone who makes a film and I like to watch any production out there. This isn't much to shout about though.
