Yeah, I'm clearly in the minority here, but all I can say is that though this is far from the best film of the decade, the year, the month, or even the day it dropped it certainly is the most fun. I think a lot of critics take things too seriously, and a lot of low budget movies suffer from the same affliction. Passion of the Crust doesn't. It thrives from stupidity and ridiculousness and it does so unapologetically. In fact it does it so well that you wonder if the bad acting isn't intentionally bad just to fit the mockery of the genre. From the Joan Jet rip off Run, Run, Run at the start of the film, to the haunted dildo gag and all through the gingerbread slaughter the jokes are stupid, the music is good, and the plot is insane. How can you not love it?
